Our Story
Ignite Genetics was founded in 2019 and is proudly owned and operated by Micah Scholl. What began as a small boar stud has now grown into a thriving program with a 25-sow herd, built on passion, hard work, and a vision for excellence.

Micah's journey started in 2006 at the age of ten in a lottery pig program, where he first discovered the dedication it takes to raise and show livestock. Over the years, he worked for some of the most respected firms across the United States - including Final Drive Genetics, Ottenwalter Showpigs, and S Squared - gaining invaluable experience and insight into what it takes to succeed at the highest levels.

That background shaped not only his expertise but also his heart for helping others. Whether its newcomers just starting out or seasoned exhibitors chasing banners at the biggest shows, Micah has a deep love for guiding people toward success.
